Echoes: A Gathering of Voices, is a night of immersive and varied storytelling through spoken word, music, and dance. The performers in this collective (Vanessa Panton, Drew Temple, Tonye Aganaba, VVolves, and Dj Ravecoach) have come together to fuse their individual talents into a production that illustrates how our voices when combined, create pathways of unimaginable possibility- both in art an in life. Since each performer also has a teaching background, there will be musings and sharing between songs, as we touch on all aspects of the human experience from the personal to the political.
Starting off with words, and ending with vibrant, embodied movement, Echoes aims to be an experience that holds space for diverse artistic expression, as a reflection of how beautiful an experiment it can be when singular voices come together in communal expression. We invite you to come on a playful journey of the heart and mind and body with us.
